| Invitation to Bid |
| The Turner County Board of
Commissioners is asking for bids on repair work on the
Old Jail. Work includes, but not limited to installing a
rubber membrane roof on a flat surface and seal coat the
exterior brick inside the Old Jail. Bids will be
received until Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 10 AM at
which time bids will be opened and read aloud.
Successful bidder will be required to be registered with
the E-verify System and have $1,000,000.00 of general
liability insurance naming Turner County as an
additional insured on the policy. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to have valid workers compensation insurance according to state statue and a valid business license with Turner County. Bidders who mail their bid should mark “BID” clearly on the outside of the envelope and mail to Turner County Commissioners' Office, PO Box 191, Ashburn, Georgia 31714-0191.
