County Fire Chief / E.M.A. Director
 
The Turner County Commissioners are accepting applications for a full-time County Fire Chief/Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director. This position responsibilities includes but not limited to planning, organizing and directing all activities of the Fire Department and for emergency management.

Qualifications for this position shall have completed a high school education or its equivalent and shall have a strong background in fire administration and personnel management with a minimum of five years of fire experience or higher and shall have successfully completed all initial courses required of emergency management within 12 months following the date of nomination into office.

Applications may be picked up at the Commissioners' Office at 208 East College Avenue, Ashburn, Georgia between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. Application Deadline is October 16, 2015.
