PRESENTMENTS OF THE GRAND
JURY APRIL 2014 TERM -
JUNE 2014 SESSION OF TURNER COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT

We, the Grand Jury drawn to serve at the
June Session of the regular April 2014 Term of
1.
We wish to thank the Honorable
Melanie Cross, District Attorney Paul Bowden and the rest of the
District Attorney's staff for their assistance to this body. We
also wish to thank Sheriff Andy Hester and his department, Chief
of Police Joseph Saxon and his department and our Bailiff, Wayne
Hobby.
2. The
Grand Jury considered evidence presented concerning 25 offenses,
contained in 9 indictments and returned 25 True Bills, 0 No
Bills, and 0 Tabled.
3. The Grand
Jury appoints Mr. Wayne Hobby as an alternate member of the
Board of Equalization to complete Lynn Youngblood Davis' term
which expires 12/31/2015.
4. We
respectfully request that the court order the presentments of
the Grand Jury to be spread upon the minutes of the Turner
Superior Court and be published in The Wiregrass Farmer and that
the Clerk of Court send a copy of these presentments to the
Turner County Commission.
